Catalog Number: (786-15)
Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: SG-Glutamic-C™ is a serine endopeptidase, from S. aureus V8, that is highly specific for the cleavage of peptide bonds at the carboxy side of either aspartic or glutamic acid, depending on the buffer used. In Tris-HCl buffer, in particular in the absence of phosphate ions, the enzyme is specific for the glutamyl site. Recommended buffers for fragmentation of proteins using this enzyme are 50 mM Tris-HCI, pH 8,0 or bicarbonate buffer. Highly purified preparations of SG-Glutamic-C™ are chemically modified making the enzyme both resistant to autolysis and stabilises its enzymatic activity.

Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: Thermo Scientific 10X Taq Buffers are ready-to-use buffers for PCR using Taq DNA Polymerases (both recombinant and native). Available in different compositions and also without detergents.

Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: This purified calf intestinal alkaline phosphatase (CIP) is supplied in Tris buffer and 50% glycerol for use in protein research methods. The main applications for alkaline phosphatase in molecular biology and protein research are to remove 5'-phosphate groups from DNA or as a reporter system for immunoassays such as ELISA. For these latter methods, the enzyme is usually conjugated to specific primary or secondary antibodies and its activity is detected with a color-forming (or light-generating) substrate.

Supplier: OMEGA BIO-TEK
Description: The Mag-Bind® Plant DNA DS 96 Kit is designed for difficult samples (DS) which are hard to lyse or contain high amounts of polysaccharides and polyphenols. The system uses a CTAB-based lysis buffer which does not require organic solvents. The proprietary binding system prevents inhibitors from binding to the magnetic beads. The wash buffer system further removes polysaccharides, phenolic compounds and enzyme inhibitors from plant tissue lysate. An optional rebinding step is included with the kit but most samples do not require the additional treatment.
Catalog Number: (ICNA0215003810)
Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Soluble in distilled water. Soluble in 0,1 M potassium phosphate buffer, pH 6,0 (monobasic potassium phosphate adjusted to pH 6,0 with 1,0 M potassium hydroxide) (10 mg/ml yields a clear, red-brown solution). Solutions of HRP can be kept refrigerated for up to a year while maintaining practically undiminished activity. Optimal pH is 6,0 to 6,5 (activity at pH 7,5 is 84% of the maximum). The enzyme is most stable in the pH range of 5,0 to 9,0 (Lit.).

Catalog Number: (PIER44920)
Supplier: Thermo Fisher Scientific
Description: Pierce™ conjugate purification kit is designed to eliminate excess, unconjugated HRP or alkaline phosphatase enzyme from labeled antibodies (IgG) after performing antibody-enzyme conjugation reactions. The single-use column-kit is intended for purification of 0,5 to 50 mg of antibody conjugate dissolved in tris-buffered saline.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Proteinase K is a highly active stable endopeptidase with a broad spectrum of action was isolated by E. Merk's Darmstadt Biochemical Research Department in 1970 from a culture filtrate of the fungus, Tritirachium album Limber. This fungus is able to grow on Keratin (e.g., wool, horn particles) as the sole source of carbon and nitrogen. The isolated protease was, therefore, given the K designation.
Proteinase K is a stable and highly reactive serine protease. Evidence from crystal and molecular structure studies indicates the enzyme belongs to the subtilisin family with an active-site catalytic triad (Asp39-His69-Ser224). It is stable in a broad range of environments: pH, buffer salts, detergents (SDS), and temperature. In the presence of 0,1 to 0,5% SDS, proteinase K retains activity and will digest a variety of proteins and nucleases in DNA preparations without compromising the integrity of the isolated DNA.
Catalog Number: (786-11)
Supplier: G-Biosciences
Description: SG-Arginine-C™ endopeptidase (Clostripain, from C. histolyticum) specifically hydrolyses the carboxy peptide bond of arginine. SG-Arginine-C™ has been modified chemically by a propriety process to render the enzyme resistant to autolysis and stabilise enzymatic activity. In addition, as a sulfhydryl enzyme, SG-Arginine-C™ is susceptible to inactivation by oxidation and as a result requires reducing agents for protection. The enzyme also requires calcium ion for maximal activity. A special reconstitution buffer is supplied, which contains reducing agents and activators to maintain enzyme activity.

Supplier: MP Biomedicals
Description: Neuraminidase (Sialidase: Acylneuraminyl hydrolase; EC 3.2.1.18) From Arthrobacter ureafaciens lyophilised powder with salts. The salts are composed of sodium-potassium phosphate to give a solution of 10 mM phosphate buffer (pH 7) when enzyme is reconstituted with water to make activity of 1 unit per ml. Activity: >60 units/mg protein for NAN-lactose >25 units/mg protein for bovine submaxillary mucin >20 units/mg protein for colominic acid Protein is determined by the method of Lowry et al. with bovine albumin as a standard.6 Unit definition: One unit will liberate 1,0 µmole of N-acetyl-neuraminic acid (NANA) per minute at pH 5,0 at 37 °C, using either one NAN-lactose, bovine submaxillary mucin, or colominic acid as a substrate.
