Description: Plasminogen activator A (PauA) is a Streptococcus uberis protein that functions similarly to proteins within the Staphylokinase/Streptokinase family. Inflammation of breast tissue (mastitis) has been recognised as a serious threat to the welfare of the dairy cow and has a severe economic impact on the dairy industry.
