Universal tray accepts a maximum of 11×1000 or 15×500 ml flask clamps, Combifix rack system accommodates 6×1000 or 12×500 ml Erlenmeyer flasks. Variety of different vessels can be accommodated by choosing from the range of optional attachments.

Supplier: DWK Life Sciences
Description: These baffled culture shake flasks are designed for use with rotary and reciprocating shakers where baffle indents provide greater turbulence to improve oxygen transfer rates or aeration.

Supplier: OHAUS
Description: Universal platforms: Ideal for mounting flask clamps, test tube racks, and bottle clamps. The two-tier braces allow stacking of platforms with a 25,4 cm clearance (available for select sizes). An optional non-skid rubber mat can be placed on the platform for an added non-slip surface. The platform is constructed of type 304 stainless steel.

Supplier: NICKEL ELECTRO
Description: Digital and analogue linear shaking water baths with a stainless steel tank housed in a durable outer case. The corrosion resistant reciprocating trolley readily accepts perforated clip trays for holding flasks and test tube racks. The trolley is easily removed for cleaning purposes and a stainless steel recessed top accommodates flasks, clip trays etc prior to and after immersion. The 28 litre baths include a drain tap for convenient emptying. Digital shakers have splash proof controls featuring an advanced PID temperature controller with a LED display, allowing observation of set and actual temperature simultaneously to 0,1 °C resolution. They also feature a highly accurate PT 100 sensor with the added advantage that it is immersed in the water for accurate temperature measurement. An over-temperature alarm operates on digital baths at 4 °C above set point which switches of the heaters to protect the users work until a safe working temperature is achieved. Analogue model has an electronic temperature controller and an electronic speed control for shaking. The heater and safety device are concealed beneath the tank allowing for easy cleaning.

Supplier: HAEP LABOR
Description: Thermomixers for one or two blocks, which are suitable for micro test tubes, centrifuge tubes, cuvettes, PCR plates, microtitre and deep well plates. Even temperature distribution over the entire block ensures accuracy and reproduciblity over the whole temperature range. Feature automatic start-up, the direction of the motion can be changed using software, timer function: 1 min to 99,99 h or continuous operation and documentation via USB interface. The abrupt shock motion of the reciprocal MHL 23 results in a controlled transfer of mechanical energy to the sample, which is especially useful for small sample quantities.

Supplier: Bioss
Description: Angiopoietins are proteins with important roles in vascular development and angiogenesis. All angiopoietins bind with similar affinity to an endothelial cell-specific tyrosine-protein kinase receptor. The protein encoded by this gene is a secreted glycoprotein that activates the receptor by inducing its tyrosine phosphorylation. It plays a critical role in mediating reciprocal interactions between the endothelium and surrounding matrix and mesenchyme and inhibits endothelial permeability. The protein also contributes to blood vessel maturation and stability, and may be involved in early development of the heart. Alternative splicing results in multiple transcript variants encoding distinct isoforms.

Description: The Bestrophins are a newly described family of anion channels unrelated in primary sequence to any previously characterized channel proteins. Bestrophins were originally defined as a family of over 20 related sequences of the C. elegans. The first mammalian Bestrophin was identified as the vitelliform macular dystrophy (VMD), 1 also known as Best disease. Three more members of the bestrophin family members were cloned and indentified recently, Bestrophin 2, 3 and 4. RT PCR analyses revealed tissue restricted expression of the three genes with both Bestrophin 1 and Bestrophin 2 are abundantly transcribed in colon. Functionally the bestrophines oligomerise to form tetramers and pentamers in order to act as calcium sensitive chloride channels. It has been shown that Bestrophin interacts with beta catalytic subunit of protein phosphatase 2A (PP2Ac). Such protein protein interaction between Bestrophin and PP2Ac and the structural subunit of PP2A, PR65, was confirmed by reciprocal immunoprecipitation. The interaction between PP2Ac and the Bestrophin takes place near the carboxy terminal end of the protein.

Description: This gene is a member of the septin family of GTPases. Members of this family are required for cytokinesis. One version of pediatric acute myeloid leukemia is the result of a reciprocal translocation between chromosomes 11 and X, with the breakpoint associated with the genes encoding the mixed-lineage leukemia and septin 2 proteins. This gene encodes four transcript variants encoding three distinct isoforms. An additional transcript variant has been identified, but its biological validity has not been determined.
