Catalog Number: (PRSI50-256)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Neurofilaments are the 10nm or intermediate filament proteins found specifically in neurons, and are composed predominantly of three major proteins called NF-L, NF-M and NF-H. NF-L is the neurofilament light or low molecular weight polypeptide and runs on SDS-PAGE gels at about 68 kDa. Antibodies to NF-L are useful for identifying neuronal cells and their processes in tissue sections and in tissue culture. Mutations in the protein coding region of the human NF-L gene cause some forms of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
UOM: 1 * 100 µl

Supplier: Texwipe
Description: These highly sorbent wipes are made from 100% continuous filament polyester in a double-knit, 'no run' interlock pattern. The wipes are pre-wetted with 70% IPA and 30% deionised water.

Catalog Number: (M334-100ML)
Supplier: VWR Chemicals
Description: Detergent-free buffer for isolation of proteins from tissue culture cells. Cell lysis and the subsequent isolation of the crude cytoplasmic fraction completed in less than 30 m.
UOM: 1 * 100 mL

Supplier: Bel-Art Products, a Part of SP
Description: Stirring bars ensure centering and smooth running characteristics via a small removable pivot ring in the center. The pivot ring minimises the contact area of the bar to the vessel, reduces friction and lessens marring of plastic containers.

Catalog Number: (ENZOADI950012100)
Supplier: ENZO LIFE SCIENCES
Description: Permeabilization, (buffer)
UOM: 1 * 100 mL

Supplier: THERMO H + P LABORTECHNIK
Description: Disc motor drive stirrers and accessory Telemodul controller, which can stir very large liquid volumes and mix highly viscous media. Stirrers have ultra-flat, space-saving design with housing that is easy-to-clean under running water.

Supplier: Biotium
Description: This MAb reacts with an N-terminal epitope (aa 16-25) of both wild type and mutated p53. Mutation and/or allelic loss of p53 is one of the causes of a variety of mesenchymal and epithelial tumors. If it occurs in the germ line, such tumors run in families. In most transformed and tumor cells the concentration of p53 is increased 51000 fold over the minute concentrations (1000 molecules cell) in normal cells, principally due to the increased half-life (4 h) compared to that of the wild-type (20 min). p53 Localizes in the nucleus, but is detectable at the plasma membrane during mitosis and when certain mutations modulate cytoplasmic/nuclear distribution. Mutations arise with an average frequency of 70% but incidence varies from zero in carcinoid lung tumors to 97% in primary melanomas. High concentrations of p53 protein are transiently expressed in human epidermis and superficial dermal fibroblasts following mild ultraviolet irradiation. Positive nuclear staining with p53 antibody has been reported to be a negative prognostic factor in breast carcinoma, lung carcinoma, colorectal, and urothelial carcinoma. Anti-p53 positivity has also been used to differentiate uterine serous carcinoma from endometrioid carcinoma as well as to detect intratubular germ cell neoplasia.

UOM: 1 * 10 L

Catalog Number: (PRSI50-253)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: Neurofilaments are the 10nm or intermediate filament proteins found specifically in neurons, and are composed predominantly of three major proteins called NF-L, NF-M and NF-H. NF-H is the neurofilament high or heavy molecular weight polypeptide and runs on SDS-PAGE gels at 200-220 kDa, with some variability across species boundaries. Antibodies to NF-H are useful for identifying neuronal cells and their processes in tissue sections and in tissue culture. NF-H antibodies can also be useful to visualize neurofilament accumulations seen in many neurological diseases, such as Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (Lou Gehrig's disease) and Alzheimer's disease.
