Catalog Number: (PRSI76-018)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: The mCD301 monoclonal antibody specifically binds to mouse CD30, a member of the Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor (TNFR) superfamily. It is expressed on activated T, B, NK, and monocyte cells. Its expression on activated T lymphocytes is regulated by cytokines and CD28. The ligand for CD30 is CD153. It has been suggested that the molecule plays a role in the protection against autoimmunity and the regulation of Th1 and Th2 cytokine secretion.

Catalog Number: (PRSI76-022)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: The 5C3 monoclonal antibody specifically reacts with human CD40, a 48 kDa type I glycoprotein. CD40 is part of the TNFR family and expressed on a subset of T cells, B cells, dendritic cells, and macrophages. It has been shown to be involved in the protection of B cells from apoptosis, B cell differentiation, co-stimulation, and isotype class-switching. The 5C3 antibody partially blocks the binding of CD40L (CD154). In the presence of IL-4 or PMA, the 5C3 antibody promotes B cell proliferation.

Description: This gene encodes a cytokine that functions in inflammation and the maturation of B cells. The protein is primarily produced at sites of acute and chronic inflammation, where it is secreted into the serum and induces a transcriptional inflammatory response through interleukin 6 receptor, alpha. The functioning of this gene is implicated in a wide variety of inflammation-associated disease states, including suspectibility to diabetes mellitus and systemic juvenile rheumatoid arthritis.

Catalog Number: (PRSI33-146)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: This antibody recognises a protein of 75 kDa, identified as the gamma heavy chain of human immunoglobulins. It does not cross-react with alpha (IgA), mu (IgM), epsilon (IgE), or delta (IgD), heavy chains, T-cells, monocytes, granulocytes, or erythrocytes. The antibody is useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin’s lymphomas. The most common feature of these malignancies is the restricted expression of a single heavy chain class. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is clonal and therefore malignant.

Catalog Number: (PRSI33-152)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: This antibody is specific to lambda light chain of immunoglobulin and shows no cross-reaction with lambda light chain or any of the five heavy chains. In mammals, the two light chains in an antibody are always identical, with only one type of light chain, kappa or lambda. In general the ratio of Kappa to Lambda is 3:1. However, with the occurrence of multiple myeloma or other B-cell malignancies this ratio is disturbed. Antibody to the lambda light chain is reportedly useful in the identification of leukemias, plasmacytomas, and certain non-Hodgkin's lymphomas. Demonstration of clonality in lymphoid infiltrates indicates that the infiltrate is malignant.

Catalog Number: (PRSI33-143)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: This antibody recognises the D1 domain of an N-glycosylated glycoprotein of 120 kDa with intra-chain disulfide bonds, identified as CD50 or ICAM3 (Leucocyte Workshop VI). It is the major ligand for LFA-1 (CD11a/CD18) and may have signaling role to increase adhesion. It is expressed on thymocytes and T lymphocytes and is resistant to treatment with phosphatidylinositol (PI) phospholipase C. This CD50 antibody is excellent for staining of formalin/paraffin tissues.

Catalog Number: (PRSI33-163)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: This antibody recognises a protein of 56 kDa, identified as cytokeratin 6 (CK6) or Keratin 6. In humans, multiple isoforms of Cytokeratin 6 (6A-6F), encoded by several highly homologous genes, have distinct tissue expression patterns, and Cytokeratin 6A is the dominant form in epithelial tissue. The gene encoding human Cytokeratin 6A maps to chromosome 12q13, and mutations in this gene are linked to several inheritable hair and skin pathologies. Keratins 6 and 16 are expressed in keratinocytes, which are undergoing rapid turnover in the suprabasal region (also known as hyper-proliferation-related keratins). Cytokeratin 6 is found in hair follicles, suprabasal cells of a variety of internal stratified epithelia, in epidermis, in both normal and hyper-proliferative situations. Epidermal injury results in activation of keratinocytes, which express Cytokeratin 6 and 16. Keratin 6 is strongly expressed in about 75% of head and neck squamous cell carcinomas. Expression of Cytokeratin 6 is particularly associated with differentiation.

Catalog Number: (PRSI33-138)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: This antibody recognises a dimer of two proteins of 70 kDa (Ku70) and ~80 kDa (Ku80), identified as two subunits of Ku. Antbody KU729 recognises a conformational epitope of the Ku70 + Ku80 dimer, which is destroyed during Western blotting. The Ku70 + Ku80 dimer is important for function of a 460 kDa DNA-dependent protein kinase. Ku protein plays a role in cell signaling, proliferation, DNA repair, replication, transcriptional activation, and apoptosis.
