Catalog Number: (PRSI7007)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: CBX4 Antibody: Polycomb group (PcG) proteins are chromatin-associated proteins which are important for embryonic and adult stem cell self-renewal and maintenance. At least two distinct human PcG complexes have been identified. Polycomb repressive complex I (PRC1) contains CBX4/Pc2, HPH1 and RING domain-containing proteins (RING1, RING2 and BMI1). CBX4 (Chromobox protein homolog 4 or PC2), which functions as a transcriptional suppressor, is a candidate of KyoT2-binding proteins. It is a E3 SUMO-protein ligase which facilitates SUMO1 conjugation. Depletion of CBX4 results in decreased cellular resistance to ionizing radiation. CBX4 is directly involved in the cellular response to DNA damage.

Catalog Number: (PRSI31-037)
Supplier: ProSci Inc.
Description: CCND3 encodes a protein that belongs to the highly conserved cyclin family, whose members are characterized by a dramatic periodicity in protein abundance through the cell cycle. Cyclins function as regulators of CDK kinases. Different cyclins exhibit distinct expression and degradation patterns which contribute to the temporal coordination of each mitotic event. This cyclin forms a complex with and functions as a regulatory subunit of CDK4 or CDK6, whose activtiy is required for cell cycle G1/S transition. This protein has been shown to interact with and be involved in the phosphorylation of tumor suppressor protein Rb. The CDK4 activity associated with this cyclin was reported to be necessary for cell cycle progression through G2 phase into mitosis after UV radiation.

Catalog Number: (489-0083)
Supplier: CROSSTEX
Description: Spore suspensions are pure suspensions of viable spores from specific organisms of known resistance to various sterilisation processes. These biological indicators are used to validate that bacterial spores have been completely destroyed. The indicator is simply processed with the load in the steriliser. No bacterial growth after culturing indicates that the sterilisation process is effective. Growth indicates ineffective sterilisation.

Supplier: UVP ULTRA VIOLET PRODUCTS
Description: Lamp shield A, hole Ø 1,02 mm, For: Pen-Ray® lamps

Catalog Number: (BOEI234100-2)
Supplier: BOEKEL SCIENTIFIC
Description: Whether crosslinking DNA or RNA, conducting Northern, Southern dot or slot blot analysis or UV curing, the UV Crosslinker AH provides a safe, time-efficient solution with a controlled amount of ultraviolet radiation. The UV Crosslinker AH incorporates an adjustable height feature which gives true-to-life readings by keeping samples on the base of the chamber, at the same distance from the bulbs as the fixed UV sensor. Instead of building up samples to get them closer to the bulbs, it is possible simply to adjust the bulbs to get them closer to the sample. The microprocessor detects the exact energy of the bulbs and compensates accordingly.

Catalog Number: (BOSSBS-3948R-A647)
Supplier: Bioss
Description: Tumor suppressor serine/threonine-protein kinase that controls the activity of AMP-activated protein kinase (AMPK) family members, thereby playing a role in various processes such as cell metabolism, cell polarity, apoptosis and DNA damage response. Acts by phosphorylating the T-loop of AMPK family proteins, thus promoting their activity: phosphorylates PRKAA1, PRKAA2, BRSK1, BRSK2, MARK1, MARK2, MARK3, MARK4, NUAK1, NUAK2, SIK1, SIK2, SIK3 and SNRK but not MELK. Also phosphorylates non-AMPK family proteins such as STRADA, PTEN and possibly p53/TP53. Acts as a key upstream regulator of AMPK by mediating phosphorylation and activation of AMPK catalytic subunits PRKAA1 and PRKAA2 and thereby regulates processes including: inhibition of signaling pathways that promote cell growth and proliferation when energy levels are low, glucose homeostasis in liver, activation of autophagy when cells undergo nutrient deprivation, and B-cell differentiation in the germinal center in response to DNA damage. Also acts as a regulator of cellular polarity by remodeling the actin cytoskeleton. Required for cortical neuron polarization by mediating phosphorylation and activation of BRSK1 and BRSK2, leading to axon initiation and specification. Involved in DNA damage response: interacts with p53/TP53 and recruited to the CDKN1A/WAF1 promoter to participate in transcription activation. Able to phosphorylate p53/TP53; the relevance of such result in vivo is however unclear and phosphorylation may be indirect and mediated by downstream STK11/LKB1 kinase NUAK1. Also acts as a mediator of p53/TP53-dependent apoptosis via interaction with p53/TP53: translocates to the mitochondrion during apoptosis and regulates p53/TP53-dependent apoptosis pathways. In vein endothelial cells, inhibits PI3K/Akt signaling activity and thus induces apoptosis in response to the oxidant peroxynitrite (in vitro). Regulates UV radiation-induced DNA damage response mediated by CDKN1A.

Catalog Number: (BSBTPB9323)
Supplier: Boster Bio
Description: Polyclonal antibody for RAD51 detection. Host: Rabbit.Size: 100μg/vial. Tested applications: IHC-P. Reactive species: Human. RAD51 information: Molecular Weight: 36966 MW; Subcellular Localization: Nucleus. Cytoplasm. Cytoplasm, perinuclear region. Mitochondrion matrix. Cytoplasm, cytoskeleton, microtubule organizing center, centrosome. Colocalizes with RAD51AP1 and RPA2 to multiple nuclear foci upon induction of DNA damage. Description: ERCC8 is a WD repeat protein, which interacts with Cockayne syndrome type B (CSB) protein and with p44 protein, a subunit of the RNA polymerase II transcription factor IIH. Mutations in this gene have been identified in patients with hereditary disease Cockayne syndrome (CS). This gene encodes a WD repeat protein, which interacts with Cockayne syndrome type B (CSB) protein and with p44 protein, a subunit of the RNA polymerase II transcription factor IIH. Mutations in this gene have been identified in patients with hereditary disease Cockayne syndrome (CS). CS cells are abnormally sensitive to ultraviolet radiation and are defective in the repair of transcriptionally active genes.
